Treatments

Our office offers various orthodontic treatments for all ages! Our average treatment time is completed in 18 months and routine appointments are scheduled every 8-10 weeks. Dr. Eisinger focuses on facial esthetics and creating an enhanced smile line. We offer flexible financing, making your orthodontic treatment affordable.

Early Treatment

Timing is everything when it comes to orthodontic treatment for children. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that all children have an orthodontic evaluation no later than age 7. Early orthodontic evaluation helps us catch potential bite or jaw growth problems before they become real issues. When orthodontic intervention is unnecessary, an orthodontist can carefully monitor growth and development and begin treatment when it is ideal.

Early intervention, if needed, guides the growth and development of jaw bones and permanent teeth, preventing serious problems later. It also helps create room for erupting permanent teeth, create facial symmetry through influencing jaw growth, reduce the risk of trauma to protruding front teeth, and preserve space for unerupted teeth. In addition, early intervention may reduce the need for tooth removal and complex orthodontic treatment at a later time.

Maxillary Expansion

Our office offers various fixed maxillary growth appliances to encourage facial growth, nasal breathing, airway development, and more. For growing children, we use a customized Rapid Maxillary Expander to guide growth. The RME is a predictable, consistent method of alleviating crowding in the upper jaw, usually without the removal of permanent teeth. For adults, we offer other fixed maxillary expansion devices available. The use of these appliance will help ensure the most beautiful, comfortable, long-lasting smile.

“We felt immediately welcomed and cared for upon meeting Dr. Eisinger and his team! We were impressed with the doctor's attention to detail and the importance of the facial structure for a young child and his development. What a wonderful experience this has been for my son!”

Adult Treatment

Braces aren’t just for kids anymore. Orthodontic treatment at later stages can dramatically improve your appearance, self-esteem, and overall health. Crooked teeth and a bad bite can contribute to gum and bone loss, tooth decay, abnormal tooth enamel, surface wear, headaches, and jaw joint (TMJ/TMD) pain. Here at Eisinger Orthodontics, we offer a variety of treatments that are designed to match the different lifestyles of each patient.

Good news! The new techniques and appliances we use greatly reduce discomfort levels, decrease the frequency of visits, shorten treatment time, and may allow you to choose from several options. Your options may include metal braces, transparent braces, and clear aligners to improve mild cases of misaligned teeth.

“My dentist referred me to Dr. Eisinger. Dr. Eisinger recommended the Damon system for my bite problems. I expected this to be a multi-year process as an adult patient, but I was done in under 18 months. He is great and his staff is wonderful. I now love my smile!”

Airway Orthodontics

Dr. Eisinger is an advocate of airway-focused orthodontics, where straightening the teeth and jaw entails opening the airways to improve breathing and prevent airway problems. Several studies have shown that crooked teeth are one of the symptoms of poor growth and development. And the underlying cause can be improper oral habits, such as breathing through your mouth instead of your nose. Patients who experience a variety of airway issues, such as snoring, may benefit from airway orthodontics.

Dr. Eisinger employs several orthodontic treatment modalities to ensure patients have clean, open, and unobstructed airways. If you think you have airway problems, call our office to schedule your complimentary consultation with Dr. Eisigner.

Retention

When we remove your braces, you will begin the retention stage of your treatment which is the most important. The retention phase lasts FOREVER! Just like your hair and skin, your teeth will change over time, and the only way to protect your amazing smile is to wear retainers forever.

For some, you may have to wear retainers at night only. Your final orthodontic result depends on your retainers, so follow through with the hard work you’ve put in so far. Remember to remove your retainers before brushing, and brush them before placing them back in your mouth.
